Joshua Messian is the Manager and Senior Exchange Officer at Peak 1031 Exchange and has been with the company since 2017. He is responsible for overseeing all of the day-to-day operations at Peak 1031. This includes educating and strategizing with clients, overseeing the quality and accuracy of exchange documents, and ensuring that clients have an unparalleled customer service experience.

Mr. Messian also regularly teaches seminars on a variety of 1031 exchange-related topics, ranging from basic knowledge of 1031 exchanges and the exchange process, to more advanced topics such as partnership issues, “parking” arrangements, and other creative 1031 exchange solutions.

Prior to joining Peak 1031 Exchange, Mr. Messian practiced real estate law at a New York City law firm for nearly 7 years, where his clients ranged from individual homeowners to large developers and other high net-worth individuals.

Mr. Messian received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2009, and his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University at Albany, SUNY in 2005.
